Matthew 24

This chapter is interesting in that it deals with the return of Jesus.
For me it had some good reminders.

For example in vs. 13 when it says, "but he who stands firm to the end will be saved." that is a good reminder as well as a challenge for me to persevere until the end of life or Jesus' return.

Then vs. 27 talks about how suddenly it will occur, "For as lightning that comes from the east is visible even in the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man." this to me emphasizes how important it is to be prepared for that day.

These last two passages I found very interesting and I'd like to get your thoughts on these as well as any of the other verses I posted about. Please feel free to post comments with your thoughts or questions.

vs. 35 Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.

vs. 44 So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at
an hour when you do not expect him.

I'm back with a new focus

After a really long hiatus I am going to return to blogging. The focus of the blog will primarily be on readings and studies of the Bible. Later this week I'm joining a Men's Bible Study that will be covering Matthew 24-28 for the next couple of months. I am excited to see what God will teach me through this study. Check out the passage for yourself here. There's guaranteed to be plenty to learn in this passage.

Sorry for the lack of wallpapers lately! Life has been a little hectic for us lately and I haven't had much time to design anything fun. I plan to be more diligent with this soon.
